Tribute to Poe
Tribute to Poe is a short animation created primarily with Adobe After Effects and Adobe Illustrator. Set to the tune of Amaria’s Serenade a Notre Dame de Paris, the video depicts a variety of the famous horror writer Edgar Allan Poe’s poems and short stories. This project demonstrates an ability to create an effective storyboard, animatic, styleframe, and motion graphic synced to music.
After choosing a selection of Poe’s works, I sketched a storyboard to plan out how I wanted to transition from story to story.
These sketches were
then used as a base for a simple animatic.
